Christian Delacroix received his PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Liège in 2013. He is currently working in the HARISSA team at the Astrophysics Research Center of Lyon (France). As an instrumentalist in high contrast imaging, his main research interests are phase mask coronagraphs, especially optical vortices, coupled with wavefront control and differential imaging. Within the VORTEX project, Christian focuses on the design and performance estimation of vortex phase masks, and on the design of new vortices with higher topological charges.
