Denis is currently instrument scientist of the LBTI in which he installed two AGPMs in collaboration with the VORTEX team. Denis obtained his Ph.D. in Astrophysics in 2009 at the Université de Liège on the topic of high-contrast interferometric imaging. His main research interests focus on high-contrast and high-angular resolution techniques for exoplanetary system imaging.  He is currently involved in the HOSTS exozodi survey and the LEECH planet survey.
